About us

Cofield is a New York based contemporary design studio founded by Sara Ebert and Jason Pfaeffle in 2013. They met in Brooklyn, NY while studying industrial design. Sara was born in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and Jason is from the water’s edge of Long Island. Their collaboration is driven by exploring the relationship between material properties and manufacturing processes. This approach enables them to create unique products and furniture with timeless materials that strike a balance between art and design. All of Cofield’s work is produced in either their Brooklyn studio or with a network of talented manufacturers throughout the USA.
